The Uffizi Partnership

Excellence in Historic Restoration

About Us

Committed to Excellence

The Uffizi Partnership has, since 1991, aimed to breathe new life into some of Scotland’s neglected historic buildings.

Unlike most developers, the Uffizi model is to buy, restore and hold properties over the long term.

For this reason, each building is renovated and maintained to the very highest standards

and brought right up to date to meet the needs of today's best businesses.

We truly treat our tenants as our partners, and as a result

have a very low turnover of occupiers in Uffizi buildings.

Easter Dalry House, Haymarket

Built in the late 17th Century, this building predates almost everything that surrounds it. It sits behind Haymarket Station and was Uffizi's first renovation project.

The Old Assembly Hall, Leith

Refurbished in 2022 and now occupied by Architype - a dynamic and sustainable architectural practice.

When we bought this building, all the beautiful cornices were hidden behind false ceilings and the stonework was hidden behind 20 or more layers of paint.

It now features a mezzanine floor with spiral staircase, a new kitchen cafe area, electric car port and Cat 6 ultra fast wiring throughout.

Leith Assembly Rooms

Following the successful renovation of The Old Assembly Hall, we purchased the neighbouring Leith Assembly Rooms - a larger project. This was a deteriorating old bar when purchased, and is now a wonderful, airy place to work.

The Kirkton of Morham,
East Lothian

Purchased in the late 90s, this cottage has had two extensions added to it and features a converted attic.
It is now a 5 bedroom house with ample space for entertaining in an idyllic spot.
